423 inspections, no names: what the state actually found in our kitchens this summer

I read the whole file instead of eating dinner. Four in ten routine inspections needed no follow-up, the median inspection turned up four items, and all seven emergency closures the state recommended this summer were cleared within two days.

Twenty-four kitchens, carts and trucks recorded an opening state inspection in St. Johns County between July 1 and Sept. 4. Twenty-two needed no follow-up; the other two were cleared on a call-back. The list, as the state recorded it.
