2026-10-25 The source note under this story described the State Attorney's Oct. 23 transmittal as a seven page PDF, a cover letter plus six pages of the office's standard table of statutory bases for redaction. The document is three pages: the cover letter and two pages of the table. The table itself carries 56 numbered entries, which is what the note said and is correct. The archived file is unchanged and so is everything the story says about what the transmittal does and does not contain, which is that it holds no records and reaches none of the five questions this paper put to the office on Oct. 22. The error was in this paper's description of the document's length and nowhere else.
Nobody will say who put the misdemeanors in circuit court
2026-10-13 This story said the next widest margin on the county board after the two shutouts was Tocoi Creek's twenty-one points. It was Mandarin's twenty-four at Ponte Vedra, 34 to 10, which is on the same seven-game board and is listed in this story. Tocoi Creek's twenty-one is the widest by a county team after the two shutouts, which is not what the sentence said. Every score, record, venue and ranking in the story is unchanged and matches the scoreboard it was read off. Two other things were put right in the same sitting. This story said it was listing the games visitor first and then listed Creekside, the home team, ahead of Atlantic Coast; the line now reads visitor first like the other six, and no score or record moved. The St. Augustine line now also says whose Panther Stadium it was. Two schools on this board play at a field by that name, Ridgeview's and the one Nease plays in. The line already named Ridgeview and the list is visitor first, so it was readable before; naming the field outright is a clarification and not a correction of anything.
St. Augustine wins 55-0 at Ridgeview and is 7-0
Sept. 13, 2026 An earlier version of this column said Sarbez! publishes nothing about itself and that its domain does not resolve. Both are wrong. The room publishes hours, a menu, an arcade gallery, a rules page, an FAQ and a full live music calendar with export links, at theoriginalsarbez.net. This desk searched for sarbez.com, found nothing there, and stopped. The paper's own source file carried the same error and has been fixed. The column below has been rewritten on the real material.
Sarbez prints the number nobody prints: when the kitchen closes
2026-09-16 Two corrections. First, this story's final paragraph said a special School Board meeting on out-of-field teachers would be held at 9 a.m. Sept. 22, with a workshop immediately after. That special meeting had already been canceled when this story ran, in a notice the district posted Sept. 3, and the Tattler missed the cancellation. What is scheduled for 9 a.m. Sept. 22 in the auditorium at 40 Orange Street is a School Board workshop. The Half-Cent Sales Surtax Citizens Advisory Committee meeting at 4 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Fullerwood Training Center is unchanged. Second, this story called the Sept. 10 hearing a nine-item agenda. The agenda carries eleven numbered items. Public comment was item 9, after both votes, as the story said.
School Board sets your school tax rate Thursday night
Sept. 25, 2026 This story said Flipturn plays the Amp at 8 p.m. on Sept. 25. The Amphitheatre's own events list, read again on Sept. 25, gives that start as 7:30 p.m. Go by 7:30. The Sept. 26 Rise Against start of 7 p.m. and the Sept. 27 Record Fair start of 11 a.m. both still match the venue, and so do the after-party doors and set times, which are the festival's own.
The best free shows in town this month start at 11:30 at night, in a roller rink
