I ate at the Floridian on 312 near the beach last week and it was a good time. First the beer was cheap, small but cheap. They seem to have an unbelievable happy hour for beer. My wife got gumbo or something like that and said it was the best she’s had outside New Orleans and the other person with us got a steak and really enjoyed that. I decided to give the meatloaf a try even though I’m not a meatloaf person… my mistake. I don’t think that it was the meatloaf’s problem I think it was mine. I just don’t like it and no matter what a good one is I’m not going to like it. I still would have put my meal as a 5 out of 10 for something I don’t like. Another thing, they take reservations! That always nice to know in the area. I did feel a touch under dressed as the women all seemed to be in flowery dresses and nice outfits but who knows, maybe it was just that night. We didn’t have a reservation so we ate outside under the trees which wasn’t bad at all. I can’t wait to go back and try something I actually like.
