The National Weather Service reissued the warning at 3:47 Sunday morning and extended it from Monday evening to 5 a.m. Wednesday. It still carries the words numerous roads may be closed. Monday's predicted morning high at St. Augustine Beach is 6.344 feet above mean lower low water, which is higher than either of Saturday's, and Tuesday's is higher again. The city has put City Hall and 50 Bridge Street on a delayed opening until noon.

The National Weather Service has a coastal flood warning for Northeast and Southeast Coastal St. Johns running from 5 p.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Monday, and it uses the words significant coastal flooding expected. A wind advisory covers the inland parts of the county as well, from noon Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday, for northeast gusts up to 40 mph. Both predicted high tides at St. Augustine Beach on Saturday sit above mean higher high water before any wind is counted, which is the part of this that is different from the advisory that ran on Tuesday. A gale warning covers the water from St. Augustine to Flagler Beach from 8 p.m. Saturday.

St. Johns County's release says the ramp and its parking lot go off limits on Oct. 26 for maintenance dredging, and gives no reopening date. The county already gave one to its own board on Oct. 6: completion anticipated by Dec. 6. The same minutes put the start at Oct. 22, four days earlier than the release does. The board authorized up to $609,850 for the dredging in July, 5 to 0, on consent.

The gauge at Mayport read above the predicted tide at every one of 262 readings between midnight Sunday and 2 a.m. Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon's predicted high at St. Augustine Beach sits below mean higher high water, so the chart is not the part of this that is high.

Friday is the last day the offshore forecast gives this coast seas of around 2 feet, and the Atlantic red snapper season ends Oct. 22. A cold front crosses Friday night and the Jacksonville forecast office is carrying the potential for gale force winds from late Saturday into Monday, with seas of 13 to 15 feet in the zone the ledges sit in. Nothing is in force tonight. And the fourteen days are the permit's: outside FWC's Exempted Fishing Permit, federal water closed on Oct. 11.

The rain arriving off Hurricane Isaias is a separate thing from the tide, and the National Weather Service has written both of them down. The seawall the state says is being built against king tides started in June and is due in fall 2027.

Every rainfall total the National Weather Service recorded in St. Johns County during the nor'easter came from one afternoon, Oct. 5, and one side of the county, the river side between Picolata and World Golf Village. The two county flood reports that drew television cameras came from Palm Valley two days later. The weather service logged no rainfall measurement in Palm Valley at all, and the nearest one to those flooded roads was taken in Duval County.

St. Johns County says it is working toward a long-term federal partnership for beach restoration at South Ponte Vedra Beach, and that the amount of public access inside the project area is one of the primary things the Army Corps uses to set the local share. Recreational shrimping is open in the six counties that close for April and May. The daily mean at Buffalo Bluff was 85.1 degrees Saturday, three degrees above the same date last year, and the water at Racy Point is six tenths of a part per thousand salt.

The northeast blow that closed this water on Wednesday has gone. The buoy twelve miles off the St. Augustine Inlet printed three foot seas at two in the morning, and underneath them a swell of eight inches at 12.5 seconds out of the east. The forecast carries that long band into Sunday and then turns the wind back on Wednesday.

Three wave buoys between Fernandina Beach and Ponce Inlet read three different seas on Tuesday afternoon. Florida Sportsman's Northeast Florida forecast, published Sept. 10, put eleven kingfish off the Jacksonville Beach pier in a single day.
