The Jumbo Shrimp have four home games left. All four are this week. All four are against the same opponent, and then the ballpark is done until spring.

Gwinnett is in town through Saturday. First pitch is 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, 7:05 Thursday, 7:05 Friday and 6:35 Saturday, all at VyStar Ballpark.

That is the whole rest of the home season. Two of the six games in this series are already gone.

Jacksonville is 70-68, a .507 winning percentage, sixth in the ten-team International League East and 13.5 games behind Rochester, which is 83-54. Those are the league’s own standings as of Wednesday.

Tuesday was two games and a split

The teams played a doubleheader Tuesday at VyStar. Jacksonville took the first 1-0. Gwinnett took the second 3-1.

Five runs scored across the two games. Jacksonville got two of them.

The road trip before that went the other way. Jacksonville went to Norfolk for six and came home having won three, including 11-7 on Sept. 5 and 8-1 on Sept. 6.

Where to watch, if you are not driving up

The league’s feed lists all four remaining home games on Bally Sports Live and on MiLB.TV, with an internet audio broadcast on both the home and away sides. It lists no promotion of any kind attached to any of the four, which for a final homestand is its own small piece of information.

Then it ends in Pennsylvania

After Saturday the Jumbo Shrimp play six at PNC Field against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Sept. 15 through Sept. 20.

Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at 1:05 in the afternoon, which is the odd one. Thursday and Friday at 7:05. Saturday at 6:05. The last game of the 2026 season is Sunday, Sept. 20, at 1:35 p.m.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre is 73-63 and third in the same division, so the closing series means more to the other clubhouse than it does to this one.

Sunday, one o’clock, football

The Jaguars open the regular season Sunday, Sept. 13, at 1 p.m. against Cleveland at EverBank Stadium. The team’s own schedule page lists it on CBS47 and Paramount+, with radio on 1010XL, 92.5 FM and 99.9 FM.

The preseason finished 2-1. Jacksonville won 24-20 at New Orleans on Aug. 15, lost 17-34 at home to Carolina on Aug. 21, and shut out Tampa Bay 19-0 at home on Aug. 28.

Preseason results are worth what preseason results are worth. The 19-0 is still a zero.

The next three Sundays

Sept. 13, 1 p.m., vs. Cleveland, EverBank Stadium, CBS47 and Paramount+. Sept. 20, 4:05 p.m., at Denver, Empower Field at Mile High, CBS47 and Paramount+. Sept. 27, 1 p.m., vs. New England, EverBank Stadium, CBS47 and Paramount+.

The bye is Week 7. Week 14 is a Monday night, Dec. 14 against Pittsburgh at 8:15 p.m., carried on CBS47, ESPN and Paramount+. Weeks 17 and 18, against Washington at home and at Indianapolis, carry no date and no time yet.

Set an alarm for October 11

Two of the games where the Jaguars are listed as the home team are not in Jacksonville.

Oct. 11 against Philadelphia is at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Oct. 18 against Houston is at Wembley. Both kick at 9:30 a.m. Eastern, both are on FOX30 and NFL Network, and if you have small children this is the best football viewing situation you will get all year.

One note for anyone counting weeks off that page. The schedule grid numbers the two London games as Week 5 and Week 6. The paragraph printed underneath the grid numbers them Week 4 and Week 5. The dates and the kickoff times match in both places, and the dates are the part you need.

Eight games this season list the Jaguars as the home team. Six of them are at EverBank.
