Of Monsters and Men play the Amphitheatre tonight, doors at 6:30 and music at 7:30, with August Ponthier opening. Tickets are $36.49 to $99.28. Still on sale.

Park for nothing

The on-site lot is limited, sells out, and has to be bought ahead at the box office or on axs.com. The Amp’s own page does not print what it costs. Skip it.

There are two free satellite lots with a free shuttle to the gate. Anastasia State Park, 300 Anastasia State Park Road. R.B. Hunt Elementary’s soccer field, Red Cox Drive. Both are inside a mile.

The shuttle starts an hour before gates, which is 5:30 tonight, and it runs an hour past the last song.

Do not park on the residential streets around the venue. The Amp says those blocks are patrolled. A car that does not live there gets towed at the owner’s expense.

Free all day

Three rooms cost nothing Tuesday. Rebel Waters, or Aguas Rebeldes, at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum on the Flagler campus, from 10. Stories of American Veterans at the eFRAME Gallery, from 8. Art in Public Spaces, in the county administration building on San Sebastian View, also from 8.

That last one is twenty-five juried photographs hung in the lobby of a government office, which is a strange place for an exhibition and a stranger one to walk into on purpose.

Music from noon

Tradewinds runs three acts today. Bret Blackshear plays the early show, 1 to 4:30. Mark Hart has happy hour, 5 to 8. Ancient City Rock takes the night at 9. No cover is published on any of it.

Milltop has two. Nathan Allen from noon to 4, Jon Q from 4:30 to 8:30, and that feed carries no cover either.

Prohibition Kitchen has nothing on its calendar until Friday. Colonial Oak is empty tonight and comes back Thursday with The Expendables, which is ticketed.

A1A Asian Kitchen still says four different things about Tuesday on one page. The banner promises live music Tuesday through Saturday at 5:30. A notice under it says the kitchen is temporarily closed Tuesdays until further notice. The hours table says 11 to 9. Call before you drive out there.

What it will be like out there

High near 85, falling to 83 in the afternoon, with a twenty percent chance of showers between 3 and 4. South wind gusting to 20. Low around 72 overnight. The lawn will be warm and no rain version is needed.

The one everybody ends up at anyway is the beach after work, which is free, has no gate, and is on the same island as the lot you did not pay for.
