No cover anywhere worth going Sunday, and the first set is at eleven in the morning.
That is the record fair at the Amphitheatre, eleven to five, and Tonevendor Records runs it. The Amp already opens its grounds on a Saturday for a farmers market under the oaks, 8:30 to 12:30. This is the Sunday version and it has bands on it.
There are four sets on the page and two of them are bands.
DJ Josh Aaron opens at eleven and plays an hour. Toxic Cats are at noon. Bears & Lions go on at 1:30 and have until 2:30. Josh Aaron comes back at three and closes it out at five. The festival credits the live music to the St. Johns Cultural Council, which is the reason there is any, because a record fair does not have to book bands.
Vendors, screen-printing, food trucks. The page says artists and times can change, which on a Sunday afternoon they sometimes do.
The rink closes the run out early
The third and last after-party at Ponce De Le Rollin’ is Sunday, and it is the short one.
Doors at 7:30. First set at eight. That is half an hour of standing around, and it is a roller rink, so there is somewhere to stand.
Sasha Bloom plays a DJ set. Teresa Rose does a solo acoustic set and is from here. Slippers headline and are from Brooklyn.
It ends at ten.
The other two nights of this ran 11:30 to two in the morning. This one is done before the hour the other two started, because the thing it follows is a record fair and not a concert. If you went Friday or Saturday, do not turn up at eleven.
No skating during the after-parties. The rink says so itself, every night of the three.
Free, all ages, same as the other two.
If you want a room with a roof and a bar
Pili Pili is at Prohibition Kitchen at six. The calendar gives no cover.
La Cocina at the Cellar Upstairs has Vinny Jacobs from one to four, then Mediterranean Nights from five to eight. The room was closed Saturday, which is on the same schedule.
The Waterworks on San Marco has a poetry open mic, and it prints the two times separately, which nobody does. Sign-up is 2:30. The reading is three to five. Free. You are called up in the order your name went on the list.
And Lakeside Park has Art & Bark in the Park, eleven to four, free, which is the city of St. Augustine Beach putting local art and animal rescue groups in a park and letting you bring the dog.
Prohibition Kitchen is closed Monday for a private event. The calendar says so at the same six o’clock slot, which is how you find out a room is dark before you drive to it.
