Start at the market.
It is free, it runs 8:30 to 12:30 under the oaks, and this is a first Saturday, which is the version of it worth getting up for. Go early.
First and third Saturdays get donation-based yoga and donation-based bike repair at the racks, and both are on today. Bring a bag. Leave the dog at home, because the market page says no pets.
Park at R.B. Hunt and walk. The Amp’s own lot is small and the market page says so itself. If you are on SNAP or EBT the market matches it with free Florida-grown produce.
Then the big one
Gov’t Mule and Ziggy Marley at the Amphitheatre, with a DJ set by YOLA. Doors 5. Show 6. Both off the venue’s page.
Tickets run $61.30 to $117.99 and the pit is general admission standing, and that is the whole range the venue publishes on its own event page.
Here is the part that saves you money. Satellite parking and the shuttle to it are free, at Anastasia State Park and at the R.B. Hunt soccer field on Red Cox Drive. The shuttle starts an hour before gates, and gates are at 5. It runs an hour past the end of the show.
The on-site lot is pre-purchased and the venue says it sells out quickly.
Skip it. Use the shuttle.
Do not park in the neighborhoods. The venue says those streets are patrolled by the Sheriff’s Office and that cars get ticketed and towed. Bikes are free at the racks, and there is a pump station by the main lot entrance.
Four free things that are not a concert
Militia Muster at Fort Mose, 9:30 to 11:30, free, 15 Fort Mose Trail. Two hours, and it costs nothing.
Volunteer Fair at The Waterworks, 184 San Marco Avenue, 10 to 4. Free. Indoors, too. Walk in.
Tactile Art Show 2026 at the St. Augustine Art Association, 22 Marine Street, 12 to 4, free admission. It is indoors.
Rebel Waters / Aguas Rebeldes at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum at Flagler College, 48 Sevilla Street, 12 to 4. Free. It sits on the Flagler campus, so walk in from downtown rather than circling for a space.
Three dollars gets you the GTM Guided Exploration Hike at Guana Trailhead, 505 Guana River Road, 9 to 11. Two hours, three dollars.
The odd one
CROCtoberfest Brew at the Zoo at the Alligator Farm, 999 Anastasia Blvd., 6 to 9. The calendar carries no price for it, so ask before you go.
The Crop Maze at Sykes Family Farms, 5995 Brough Rd, is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., prices vary. The Children’s Hour is at Flagler College Lewis Auditorium, 14 Granada St., 7:30 to 9:30.
Rooms, and one listing to ignore
Colonial Oak Music Park, 21 St George Street. MedalMillitia, 6 to 10, and the Oak’s own feed prints no cover at all.
Prohibition Kitchen has two sets off its own calendar. The Collective at 6, Mandalla at 10. The second one runs to midnight, not to 1. Both are the room’s own times.
Celtic Thunder at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, 8 p.m. That start is the hall’s own.
An Emo Social Dance Party at Cafe Eleven is on the visitor bureau’s music board for 8:30 tonight. Cafe Eleven’s own calendar skips Oct. 3 entirely, and Glory Days, which books that room, has nothing in St. Augustine tonight and nothing at Cafe Eleven until Oct. 31. Two documents against one.
Do not build your night on it.
The wet version
The forecast is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, a high near 84 and an east wind 6 to 12, and it holds at the same 50 percent through the evening with a low around 76.
The market is under oaks. The Amp is not covered. Bring a poncho. The hike, the muster and the maze are all outside, and the two art shows and the auditorium are the plans that survive a squall.
The one everybody ends up at anyway is St. George Street.
Walking it costs nothing, and the Oak is on it until 10.
