Start with the forecast, because it decides the week.

The weather service has showers and thunderstorms every day from Tuesday to Columbus Day. Tuesday is 99 percent. Wednesday 90. Friday 81, Saturday 77. Thursday is the dry one at 61, which tells you how the week is going.

Nothing here is cancelled. But the Amphitheatre is open air and Colonial Oak is a courtyard, and four of the week’s biggest shows are at those two.

Tuesday, tonight

National Night Out, Pier Park, 5 p.m., free. The St. Augustine Beach listing says free and the county has it too. Go to this one. It is the only free evening on the calendar all week, and the next free thing after it is the Wednesday market at 8 a.m.

Jim Johnston at Prohibition Kitchen, 6 p.m. Indoors, on St. George. The feed gives no cover.

Trivia at Cafe Eleven, 7 p.m., $20. That is KindHaven’s night and the $20 is the listing’s own figure. Indoors.

Milltop Tavern, Cody Greene at noon and John Tyler at 4:30. Two a day, every day, no cover published.

Archery at the fairgrounds is $5 at 6 and $10 at 7:15 if you want the odd one.

Ty Myers is 6:30, not 7:30. An aggregator has it wrong and the venue’s own page has it right. Get there an hour earlier than the internet told you.

Tedeschi Trucks is two nights, Friday and Saturday. The venue lists the dates as a range and publishes no start time for either.

The free ones, and the catch

Six free things this week, and four of them are Saturday morning. The walk at 8, the Amphitheatre market at 8:30, the car show at 9, the fire station at 9. Saturday is 77 percent rain, so that is four free things stacked into one wet morning.

Cracker Day is $5 and it is the 67th. GTM seining is $3 and you get in the water, which on a 77 percent day is not the obstacle it sounds like.

The county is opening Fire Station 21 at Flagler Estates on Saturday at 9, at 4630 Melanie Street in Hastings, with tours after the speeches. Public invited. If you have ever wanted to stand in an apparatus bay, that is the morning.

Sunday, which is the actual answer

The Avett Brothers at the Amphitheatre, 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Biggest show of the week, and Sunday is 67 percent, which makes it the second driest day on the board.

Pili Pili at Prohibition Kitchen at 6. The Band Feel at Colonial Oak at 6, and the venue’s own title says ticket show, so that one costs something it has not said.

The one everybody ends up at anyway is Milltop at 4:30, indoors, no cover published, seven days out of seven.
