Sam Pacetti at Prohibition Kitchen, six o’clock. That is the first set, not a door time, and it runs to nine.
No cover. The venue’s calendar has no price field in it at all, and neither does the city’s music board, which carries the same six to nine.
Two of tonight’s five are on the board again Thursday. Kosco goes back into Pesca Vilano, which is a room he is holding rather than a date he got. Pacetti moves, to Casa de Vino 57, five to eight.
What else is on the board
Five acts, all of them in restaurants, and not one of them with a price next to it.
Joshua “Tennessee” Worthy is at Mill Top Tavern from four thirty to eight thirty, and Kevin Edwards is at Hurricane Grill and Wings on Anastasia from five to eight.
Colin Kosco is at Pesca Vilano, six to ten. Bob Patterson is at O.C. White’s, six thirty to nine thirty.
Mill Top’s own calendar has a sixth the board does not carry. Jim Lamb, noon to four, before Worthy comes on at four thirty. Three slots a day is how that room runs, and the board tends to catch the late one.
Tradewinds is doing three and the board does not know
Three acts on a Monday, off the lounge’s own schedule.
Reggie Starrett has the early show, one to four thirty. Mark Hart is five to eight, in the column the lounge heads happy hour, and Hart holds that column five days out of seven. Mike Johnson and Brad Burns are the nine o’clock band.
None of the three is on the visitors bureau board. It carries Tradewinds on Tuesday and on Wednesday and skips Monday entirely.
Believe the venue. Its page also asks you to check their Facebook for confirmations or last minute changes, which is worth reading twice before you drive out there.
No price on that page either.
Trivia, and a room that runs on quarters
A1A Asian Kitchen runs trivia every Monday, seven to eight thirty. No entry fee printed.
Their live music is Tuesday through Saturday from five thirty, so there is no band there tonight and the trivia is the whole offer. Kitchen closes at nine.
Sarbez is open till midnight, at 115 Anastasia Blvd, just over the Bridge of Lions.
Over thirty-five arcade games in there, pinball through skeeball, every one of them running on quarters and dollar bills, with a quarter machine next to the ATM. Kid friendly until eight.
Nothing is booked tonight, and that is the point of it. It costs whatever you feed the machines.
Four to six
Barley Republic’s happy hour is Monday to Friday, four to six.
Five dollar smash burgers, five dollar bone-in wings, and five dollars on select drafts, well cocktails, house wines and the house sangria. Their page regenerated at 2:03 this morning with all of those prices still on it.
The ride
The STAR circulator is free, and it runs nine in the morning to nine at night Sunday through Thursday.
That gets you downtown for Pacetti’s first set and gets you out again at nine, which is the minute his last one ends. Cutting it fine is the only way to do this one by shuttle.
The city’s page for it prints the hours and a drawing. No timetable, no stop addresses.
Meehan’s has nothing tonight, and nothing on any Monday for the rest of October.
Colonial Oak has nothing until Friday, when Circus plays at seven.
